Hi, I’m Jules!

I go by Jules among my close friends, and when someone needs to catch my attention, they typically call me Julie. However, inside the classroom, a large number of my students affectionately refer to me as “Sassy Rassy.” This nickname which I have wholeheartedly embraced, brings an unexpected element to my classroom.

I am extremely passionate about my role as a mother, and it holds the utmost importance in my life. I have three children, each with their own unique learning styles. Why are my children’s learning styles significant to me? Well, in addition to being a devoted mother, I have been an educator for over 25 years, and helping children learn comes naturally to me.

During the initial five years of my teaching career, I worked in a conventional brick and mortar school. However, after the birth of my first daughter, I transitioned to teaching students virtually. Witnessing the evolution of the virtual learning community over the next twelve years was truly remarkable. Teaching virtually proved to be a blessing for my family as it allowed me to be present at home with all three of my daughters.

Currently, I teach at a public school that focuses on preparing students for college and trade schools. It follows a novel approach to education, and I find it exhilarating to be part of something that I believe will eventually become commonplace in every school district. In many ways, I consider myself a pioneer in modern education.

Throughout my extensive career, I have witnessed the incredible impact that educators can have on the lives of their students. Motivated by a deep sense of gratitude for the profession that has brought me so much fulfillment, I now aspire to support and empower other teachers in their journey towards success.

My passion for teaching stems from my unwavering belief in the transformative power of education. I have dedicated countless hours to refining my pedagogical skills, staying abreast of the latest educational research, and implementing innovative teaching methodologies.

Driven by a desire to pay it forward, I have made it my mission to help other teachers excel in their craft. I share my wealth of knowledge, practical strategies, and valuable insights with educators at various stages of their careers. I understand the unique challenges that teachers face—from classroom management to curriculum design—and I provide tailored support and guidance to help them navigate these obstacles successfully.

My warm and empathetic nature, combined with a deep understanding of the teaching profession, has made me an invaluable resource for fellow educators. My genuine desire to see others succeed has created a strong network of like-minded individuals who share a common goal of creating exceptional educational experiences for their students.

As I continue to inspire and uplift teachers, I envision a future where every educator feels empowered, supported, and equipped with the necessary tools to make a profound difference in the lives of their students. My unwavering commitment to the teaching community and steadfast belief in the power of education have solidified my position as a guiding light for those seeking success in the noble profession of teaching.

Three things that have lead to my success as a teacher:
  • I’ve never felt alone in my teaching career. I come from a long line of teachers, I guess you can say my roots run deep. When I need help I asked for it. I have a strong support system that works behind the scenes. When I look at him, I see my hero. You’re not alone, I’m here to help you find solutions.
  • I found that being a mom brought me insight into how children learn, and authentically connecting with them brings out their best.
  • I was one of six out of 1,700 awarded an “I Love Teaching” award. I do love teaching, but at the heart is the fact that I love people. I research to find solutions to problems. My goal is to share my knowledge with you in order to make your teaching experience a little easier and enjoyable.
